Do-everything prospect Danny Oquendo lived up to his billing in Hackensack's (NJ) season opening victory. Oquendo, who plays wide receiver on offense, safety on defense and is the kick and punt returner on special teams, tallied 7 catches for 107 yards and two scores on offense last week; defensively, he had 8 tackles and one forced fumble; on special teams, he had 50 yards in punt returns.
"Our first game was a great game," Oquendo said. "We won 40-6. Hopefully we'll be able to go 12-0 this year and win the state championship. I don't think there is a team that can really beat us if we play well."
