Jackson High School quarterback Antonio Bass did indeed make his scheduled official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend. Jackson Head Coach Jack Fairly discussed the visit with his star yesterday evening.
"I spoke to him, and he said he had a great visit," Fairly said. "He was impressed with the architecture of the campus, and said it had a nice feel. He liked the coaching staff and particularly enjoyed Coach Rogers. He had a chance to meet Coach Beamer. He spent a lot of time with a bunch of defensive backs. I think his host was a defensive back. Academically, he was impressed with the Business Department. Overall, it was a very positive visit."
