Like many other prospects, offensive lineman Jon Walko has been receiving phone calls from Division I-A coaches since September 1st. Virginia Tech was one of them, as Coach Frank Beamer and Coach Tony Ball talked to the Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) standout on Wednesday.
"I had about 4 calls on Wednesday - Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Marshall and N.C. State," Walko said. "Virginia Tech called to let me know that they are coming down [tonight] to see my game. I talked to Coach Ball most of the time, and Coach Beamer briefly. They told me they are still real high on me."
