One of the top sleepers to come out of the Spring and Summer has been Huguenot (Richmond, VA) defensive back Sean Smalls . Not a sleeper to many coaches in central Virginia, Smalls led the Dominion District in interceptions with 6 as a junior last season. This summer, Smalls has taken advantage of the Nike Camp opportunities to show off his athletic abilities.

“He’s 6-1, 185-pounds,” Huguenot Head Coach Richard McFee said. “He ran a 4.51 in the 40 during the Nike Camp at Penn State. He bench pressed 185-pounds 12 times, jumped a 32-inch vertical, and ran a 3.87 in the 20-yard shuttle. He was voted the best defensive back during the Virginia and Penn State Nike Camps and the #1 defensive back in Penn State’s summer football camp.”
