Danny Oquendo is used to playing a lot of positions for Hackensack High School (NJ). The 6-2, 175 pound prospect is the epitome of an athlete. Oquendo played wide receiver, safety, and returned punts and kicks on special teams last season as a junior. Easily the most versatile prospect on Hackensack, Oquendo expects to be a jack-of-all-trades once again this year.
“I will be again,” Oquendo said when asked if he’ll be a do-everything type of player for Hackensack again this year. “I’m not sure exactly what my main positions will be but I know Coach Dass definitely wants me to play offense and defense. I’ll probably be the kick returner and the punt returner again. If I get tired, I might take off a kick or punt return.”
