Lakewood (Sumter, SC) tailback prospect JC Neal made his second visit to Virginia Tech in as many years when he participated in the 2004 senior camp last Saturday. Neal, who traveled to Blacksburg in 2003 for the Nike Camp, seemed to enjoy this experience better than the first.
“It was fun,” Neal said. “It wasn’t as uptight as the Nike Camp was last year. I could relax and have some fun. They gave me the option of playing wherever I wanted to play. For the first part I played running back, and then for one-on-one’s I played wide receiver. The running back drills gave me something I could take back with me. The one-on-one’s were just for fun.”
