Varina (VA) defensive tackle Joseph Johnson had planned on participating in both the UVa and Virginia Tech summer camps. While he did make it to Blacksburg this past Saturday, he was unable to go to Virginia’s last month.
“I didn’t go to the Virginia camp because I wasn’t in town,” Johnson said. “I did go to Virginia Tech. I really liked it…seeing it again and working with the coaches. I felt right at home.
