Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) star defensive end/tight end Everette Brown made his first 2004 summer camp performance in late June, when he attended the Penn State summer camp. The 6-3, 230 pound Brown posted his best-ever 40 time during the event, increasing his already high stock.
“My team went to camp at NC State in early June, but I didn’t participate because of an injury I had,” Brown said. He has 14 scholarship offers right now. “I did go to Penn State’s camp from June 20th thru the 23rd. I was healthy for that one. I went in their a little more focused than I usually am. I ran a 4.55 in the 40. It was probably my fastest ever time.”
