Virginia Tech picked up its seventh commitment for the 2005 recruiting class today, when North Stafford (VA) offensive guard Tony North chose the Hokies over NC State.
"Tony North has just committed to Virginia Tech," North Stafford Head Coach Eric Cook said. "It was down to Virginia Tech and NC State, and he just went where he felt more comfortable. He went where he felt more comfortable if he was just a student. He felt that way after he visited Blacksburg."
