Safety/running back Kavell Connor has become the latest player in the Central Region of the state of Virginia to receive a scholarship offer. The Manchester High School (Midlothian, VA) standout made a splash recently when he received a scholarship offer from national power Oklahoma, giving Connor three total scholarship offers according to Manchester Head Coach Tom Hall.
“Oklahoma, Marshall, and Pittsburgh have offered him,” Hall said. “Clemson is probably going to offer him soon. Pretty much everyone that has come in to see has said they really like him. The two in-state schools [Virginia and Virginia Tech] said they are taking a wait-and-see approach, which is kind of unbelievable to me. I think they are still trying to see if he’s an outside linebacker, a strong safety, or a running back on the next level.
