Yesterday, Virginia Tech added even more athleticism to an already very athletic 2004 class, when 6-6, 170 pound small forward prospect Wynton Witherspoon committed to the program. He joins 6-3, 200 pound point guard Marquie Cooke, 6-6, 220 pound combo forward Justin Holt, and 6-7, 185 pound high-rising small forward Deron Washington in the 2004 class.
During a press conference yesterday afternoon, Witherspoon chose Virginia Tech over Providence and Texas. He was also considering Auburn, UAB, and Georgia.
