Wide receiver is one of the top need positions for UVa in the 2005 recruiting class, and the Cavaliers landed a very good prospect at the position today. Brandon Woods , a 6-2, 205 pound wide receiver out of Southern Durham High School in Durham, North Carolina, verbally committed to the 'Hoos today.
"Yes, sir, I committed to Virginia," Woods said. "I committed today. Virginia is going to give me an opportunity to play at a high level while I get a great education. I will have the opportunity to play as a true freshman. I have been to Virginia a few times and I really liked the atmosphere and the way the coaches treat you. They show you a lot of love up there and there is a lot of opportunity. Plus the education part of it is great. I want to major in Business."
