Virginia Tech is one of at least four schools to have offered St. Anne's-Belfield star shooting guard/wing forward Jose Garcia. Garcia, a rising senior, averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists as junior last season.
"Jose's been offered by Florida State, Virginia Tech, Georgetown, and Richmond," St. Anne's Head Coach Phil Stinnie said. "I'm pretty sure Michigan State and Louisville will offer too. When coaches tell you that they are 'very, very, very interested' in a player, that usually means something."
