It didn’t take long for Alex Field to respond to Virginia Head Coach Al Groh’s scholarship offer with a verbal commitment. Virginia has long been his favorite school, so he was a little more than excited when he received the scholarship offer earlier this month.
"They offered on the 18th [of February] I believe," Field said. "I committed to them right then. I used to go down there to see football games in middle school. I went to a game with a friend of mine last year, and I wished that I could play football for them."
