Virginia Tech received a big commitment last night from one of the top prospects in the state of New Jersey, when 6-6, 280 pound Matawan High School (NJ) defensive tackle prospect Carl Howard verbally committed to the Hokies.
“I committed last night to Virginia Tech,” Howard said. “It was a tough decision, but I just went where my heart told me to go. I’m really excited to make this decision, and I’m looking forward to getting down there with my new family.”
