Washington Township (NJ) linebacker prospect Hugh D'Imperio was scheduled to visit Virginia Tech this weekend, however his plans changed last night when he verbally committed to Michigan State. D'Imperio has cancelled his visit to Virginia Tech.
"He did commit to Michigan State last night," Hugh's mother, Donna D'Imperio said. "He committed last night when their coaches were here. I was surprised that he committed because he never really talked about it. But he went upstairs, talked to his Dad for about 15 minutes, came down and said he wanted to commit. He's excited because he really likes the position that they are looking at him to play."
