Providence (Charlotte, NC) tailback prospect Andrew Pearman no longer considers himself a Virginia commitment, and is exploring at least two other options at this point…Army and South Carolina. The 5-9, 170 pound prospect began having doubts about his verbal commitment to the Cavs following the departure of former Running Backs coach Kevin Ross.
“Kevin Ross leaving did have an effect on my decision,” Pearman said. “Like I described to the coaching staff at Virginia, a coaching staff is like a puzzle and if just one piece is missing, then it’s not the same. I don’t think the understood why I was having second thoughts because I get along with all of the coaches really well and they didn’t think losing one coach should make that big of a difference. My decision is kind of rocky now though, and I’m going to think more into it.”
