It appears to be a two-team race right now for John I Leonard (Boca Raton, FL) running back/cornerback prospect Damian Sims, as Virginia Tech and Kansas State have moved ahead of the pack.
"It's really between Virginia Tech and Kansas State," Sims said. "I'm very interested in both of those schools. I really like what the depth chart looks like for both teams. Kevin Jones is leaving and Darren Sproles will be a senior, so I could potentially play really early if I work hard enough. Both schools came to my house and spoke with my Mom. My Mom liked both of the coaching staffs a lot."
