Virginia Tech received its ninth commitment for the 2004 recruiting class today, when Fork Union Military Academy offensive/defensive line prospect Ryan Shuman committed during his official visit.
Shuman made the official visit by himself, which is why Tech coaches told him to go home tonight and inform his parents first before "officially" committing. He told his parents, and he plans on committing to the Hokies tomorrow.
