Before the start of the 2003 football season, Kenneth Harris was not even sure he would play football. He had played for Cherryville High School football the previous three years, however it was under a predominately run-oriented system.
When Richard Davis became Cherryville's Head Coach, he told Harris that he would "throw at least ten balls per game in his direction" and to give football one more shot.
