Matawan (NJ) defensive tackle Carl Howard is enjoying an excellent senior year both on and off the field. On the field, his team has six wins to zero losses. The 6-6, 280 pound Howard has made 43 tackles, anchoring the stout Matawan defense.
"Everything's going great," said Howard of Matawan's season thus far. "We're 6-0. It's so cool that we're winning and I can say we're 6-0. Our defense is shutting teams down. We're number one in the Shore (district) in defense. I want that icing on the cake though, and that's a state championship."
