With the commitment of Loyola (CA) quarterback Scott Deke and the transfer of former Notre Dame quarterback Chris Olsen into the program, it was very conceivable that the Virginia Cavaliers would not take any more quarterbacks in the 2004 class. That may not be true.
Along with Deke, the only other quarterback the Cavaliers have offered is East Gaston (Gastonia, NC) star Jadarian “JD” Moore. Moore, who is 6-1 ½, 215 pounds, runs a 4.75 in the 40 and is a dual threat quarterback. He visited Charlottesville last weekend to catch the game versus Duke and to find out more about the Cavaliers' quarterback situation.
