Wilson (Florence, SC) linebacker/wide receiver prospect Lawrence Timmons has been receiving a lot of attention this year, and for good reason. At 6-2, 223 pounds, he is athletic enough to play wide receiver yet tough enough to become a quality outside linebacker on the next level.
He’s also fast, as he displayed during a camp down in Miami earlier this year. He posted a 4.56 in the 40 yard dash during that event, and earned a scholarship offer from Tennessee when he returned. Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, UNC, Maryland, South Carolina, Clemson, and Florida join the Vols as the nine schools who have officially offered Timmons.
