One of the state of New Jersey's top defensive end prospects is quickly rising on the recruiting charts. Plainfield's (NJ) Dan Davis has been invited to Max Emfinger's Iron Man competition, which features the top 250 offensive and defensive line prospects in the country according to Max Emfinger. He has also earned Prep Star Honorable Mention All-American honors.
In addition to these pre-season accolades, Davis earned one more scholarship offer since we last spoke. Virginia has become the third team to officially extend a scholarship offer.
