Last week, Providence (Charlotte, NC) running back Andrew Pearman became the third commitment of the 2004 football recruiting class for the Virginia Cavaliers. Pearman, who is 5-9, 165 pounds, runs a 4.3 in the 40 yard dash. He is being recruited to play running back, however can be used all over the field with his speed. As a junior, Pearman rushed for 1,600 yards with 22 touchdowns. Pearman is the younger brother of UVA rising junior running back Alvin Pearman. He chose the Cavaliers over offers from Tennessee, UNC, Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, Clemson, South Carolina, and Maryland.
