Rockbridge (VA) defensive line prospect Jon Kirchner has had Virginia Tech as his heavy favorite throughout the spring. Recently, however, it seems the University of Virginia has gained some ground.
“I’d say those two (UVA and Virginia Tech) are definitely my top two,” said the 6-5, 260 pound Kirchner. “I would say Virginia Tech is now neck and neck with UVA. A month ago, I toured the Virginia campus and watched a practice. I felt good about the atmosphere at Virginia…I felt kind of like I was at home.”
