We really need to stop comparing ourselves to Penn State.

It will only lead to heartbreak. They have world champs and Olympic medalists all over their room and coaching staff. Same for Ok State now. Honestly, for the foreseeable future, with the resources they have if anyone other than Iowa, Ok State, and PSU finish top 3, that is a huge failure on their part. And a great accomplishment for that surprise team. Unless Tech can find a billionaire to fund the program and SERTC, they are going to have to get some really good recruiting classes and coach them up and maybe get a trophy once in a while. And, I don’t think people are saying Tech wrestlers are low IQ. But, there have been some moves that weren’t smart. At least that has been my interpretation and intent.
