For senior level wrestlers. It encourages wrestling in more tournaments, which I completely understand. If you aren’t happy with your ranking or seed, show up to more tournaments and wrestle. Which makes sense in theory, but these tournaments are expensive for kids to attend. I think it will get better as time goes on and there is more data going into the algorithm, but Fargo wasn’t cheap and I would hate to see kids penalized because their parents don’t think it is worth it to spend money to send them to every tournament in the country. Saw an Alaska kid that went 0-2 yesterday. That would be tough to justify in my opinion.
