He has developed a lot over the past 4-5 years and is a very, very strong kid. His High School coach is a former Heavyweight at Purdue and has done a great job of developing Michael. Very strong kid..still raw in technique but a hard working kid who doesn't quit at anything. I had his match last year between Waylon Cressel (UNI and 2X Indiana State Champ) and it was a helluva match with White getting a TD late in a tight loss. On a personal note...kid and his mother lived in a shelter when he was younger. To say that he has come a long way is an understatement. He needs to keep his head on straight and if he can, he will be fun to watch one day. Very happy for him and VT.
