I feel like wrestling recruiting rankings are some of the best actually

Instead of trying to compare measurables or decide if someone's production is more important than their 40 time or whatever, you have actual head to head results to show who is best. Obviously that doesn't tell who peaked in high school or who has big potential that they haven't realized yet, but it's a super objective way to rank. Obviously outside factors can affect how a kid's college career goes, but that's no reason to ignore rankings.
