My VT sports attention has shifted towards "non-revenue" sports
where athletes stay at one school for multiple years and don't jump from school to school for more money each year. Wrestling and softball are good examples at VT. You know who the athletes are, because the majority of the roster doesn't turn over every year. And, if they do stay at one school, it's easier for the athletes to get a good degree and they are more likely to stay involved in the program as alumni.
