he doesn’t shoot. He ties up, uses his incredible length, lets/lures the other guy shoot on his legs then uses a series of moves using said incredible length involving many cradles. It’s exactly what he just did to beat Mendez. Just enough tieing up and half-hearted swipes at legs to appear active so as not to get multiple stall calls. Don’t believe he had one single initiated move for a takedown the entire match. His aforementioned mat style with the scramble/cradles is unbelievably elite.
