They should stop tracking team scores in these tournaments. Really means nothing unless you are required to send a guy at each weight class to participate. There is no statement by placing ahead of any other team at these things - no one is paying attention or remembers. They should just stop the nonsense. Regarding sending 3 to Midland and 0 to Scuffle at 149 - I really think this is about who your potential opponents might be, the impacts to seeding, and trying to sort out who will be your starter come ACC/NCAA. And it might have a little to do with an individual wrestlers personal schedule - they presumably still have classes etc.
