Sure we lose tonight and it was a depressing loss, This is the nature of sport. It happens at all levels, but instead of looking for blame, why don’t we send notes encouraging them. - assuming they read these posts One fan had posted earlier about ‘believing in Carleigh.’ That

Sure, they can win games. I didn’t see them going down to Tallahassee and winning big. But they did. Tonight, kind of the reverse mojo. Zero excuses to lose that game. Miami is bad. First year coach, etc.
But winning games you are supposed to win is job one. Duffy doesn’t do that, unfortunately. She just doesn’t have a killer instinct. It can’t be taught. Doesn’t work the refs the way you (unfortunately) need to in today’s game. Also can’t be taught. Mike Young has many shortcomings, but he is an absolute master at this. Miami’s coach worked the refs to no end.
It worked. Got calls, and zero technicals.
Sorry not sorry for the downtrodden post. This team isn’t very good, that’s the reality, and I think a new AD will move on from Duffy pretty quickly. Whit let his ego get in the way with Kenny, and well…..here we are.

For players to have “killer instincts” the game got tight and we folded. We looked scared, Duffy called two timeouts after Miami runs to try and stop the momentum and calm everyone down, but it didn’t work. Don’t get me wrong like I have said blowing a 18 point second half league is never acceptable at any level. But it’s not all on the coach, the players have to make plays.

If they want to go to the next level they need to be the one who wants the ball and the responsibility when things are on the line.
