No, the WNBA Draft is on April 10th because WNBA season is essentially from

April to October. The hyperlink has the key dates for the 2023 season. I believe the reason the WNBA's season is not the same as the NBA's season is to minimize the amount of time the WNBA is in direct competition with the NBA for eyeballs and to make things easier for scheduling purposes particularly for cities that have both a NBA and WNBA franchise (both franchises play their home games in the same arena).
