Something from the thread below...I wanted to briefly comment on Trent and Jenkins. I think they can work well together. We saw a snapshot of that in the Islands. We went through a stretch of time in a game when they were on the court at the same time. They showed the chemistry and knowledge to work high-low action together. What I really like about both is that both showed the IQ to create space for a teammate. You could see Trent slide away from a spot to give Freelon or another teammate room to operate. She didn't clog space. She moved to the weakside of the block when a guard drove from the wing. These are some things we needed more of.. knowing how to work with the guards who often focused on their drives... Trent was ready for dishes...when she set screens, she rolled with her hands up to potentially receive passes that often never came. I know they will be works in progress, especially defensively...but I think they will operate well offensively, even if they are not asked to square up or post up. Even just moving the ball in the offense from the high post is a skill that both showed last season.
