The Athletic recently ran an article on the Reddit co-founders $3M gift to UVA WBB over 4 years that has allowed UVA to have success in the NIL era. (I am well aware that we beat the Wahoos twice this year!) Duke, Louisville, ND, UNC, NC State, and UVA will all continue to be players in this new age. (Not sure about Syracuse, Stanford, Cal, Ga. Tech, Clemson). I love everything Coach Duffy is doing with our program. As everyone knows, however, it is going to take some real money to stay, or become more, competitive. I fall into the category (like many) of being a fervent supporter but not in a position to write a big check. There is great enthusiasm for our WBB program. We also need lots of money.
