Not the prettiest. Not the best on offense

But a win is a win. - Baker didn't shoot well. but she had 9 rebounds - Wenzel looked like she was not going to shoot well, but got a bunch of those layups - Freelon with a double double - Nelson with 5 assists and getting to the rim at times. Drawing charges. - Peterson actually showed a bit more. I wish those chances had fallen when she made a driving move. She got beat once on defense, but it was nice to see her more comfortable - Trent continues to get time and makes a difference, especially defensively Offensively, there were doldrums.. Getting layups was the way to go. Need better spacing to give people room to drive. That is often sometimes the issue is that people are around teammates. But Pitt was not really helping much on drives, so if we have spread them more... Would like to see Suffren pass out of a screen. She took a jumpshot off a screen by Freelon when Freelon screened and rolled. She would have been wide open for a dump down pass. Defensively, they were good for stretches. Occasional lapses, but generally good. ** Edited by VAHokie89 at 1/29/2026, 11:12:30 PM ** Edited by VAHokie89 at 1/29/2026, 11:28:13 PM ** Edited by VAHokie89 at 1/29/2026, 11:31:17 PM

The biggest problem with spacing is that Nelson won't/can't shoot it from

Even more than that, you can see teammates too close together (more)

As a defender, wouldn’t you be aware of the tendencies of the driver? Does

Carleigh,Carys and occasionly Freelon are our only consistent shooters**

Finally, Suffren is becoming more consistent from mid-range, not 3 and,.

Several players have finally welcomed the mid-range. Which has opened up

I’d say consistent scorers. Not consistent shooters. **

You're right about floor spacing
