First off, what a college basketball game and come back from the Hokies tonight!!! CARLEIGH WENZEL and CARYS BAKER were sensational tonight as they combined for 48 points. Very fitting too that they both made HUGE plays down the stretch. Game winning assists and points. And shoutout Samyha Suffren for the big three she knocked down in the corner! I thought the game really changed when Clemsons big girl fouled out, and when we started doubling #32 and ramping up the pressure on her. Then we also went to a very high pressure defense (which would both be a coaching defensive adjustment :) The Hokies also ended up winning the rebounding battle and the turnover battle. It takes a lot of discipline, heart, and grit to come from behind like that in such a huge game. Winning plays by everyone involved in the 4Q. This is the type of win that could flip our luck on selection Sunday. Need to take care of Wake Sunday. But what an intense entertaining game tonight.
