Getting as much money as you can before can't get that anymore

Is more valuable. There are regular alumni who never step back on campus for years. Not that I am disparaging the idea of being a popular alumnus, but Nelson was not going to play professionally, either in the WNBA or any high salaries over-seass job. If she can make 3+ year's worth of a regular job in one year, many "students" are going to do that, and even if she makes $50,000 more at Clemson. that could be a year's salary (or less, or more) for a new college graduate.
