Jernigan is a stand still shooter, Sears is a true PG who can shoot. Also other NC guards include Gabby White (UVA) and Caitlyn Jones (Wake Forest) who are both having significantly better seasons than Jernigan, and Sears was ranked above both of those players. But, obviously Jernigan is on a much more talented team than White and Jones. Also, Sears upside is so high because of her position she will have to have the ball more in her hands opposed to Jernigan. Obviously some of the expectations on this board for her are pretty unrealistic😂 but I do think she has the potential to be really good, I guess we will find out next year!
