Before this past season I thought she did have that potential...

...but I think her physical limitations became more clear and Trent's development and the potential of Jenkins (hopefully both stay) leaves Petersen's future role here less clear. I think she was very valuable as a freshman on a team with little depth (and she was a much better front court option off the bench than Ramiya White and Maya Hazleton). I really appreciated Petersen's grit and hustle and she deserves more of an opportunity to display that in a program that needs what she can offer.
