Over the weekend, I attended Kelly Woolwine's amazing Life Ring Foundation fundraiser. For purposes of this board, I had some wonderful conversations with Coach Duffy, our new AD, our former AD, and the WBB goat (Liz Kitley). The new reality of NIL and explosion of money for athletes is surreal and quite the challenge for coaches who are working tirelessly to build and retain a championship roster. Coach Duffy continues to stand out as a first-class coach and person. Who knows how competitive we will be next year? I do know that we have an awesome leader who is doing everything she can to put us in a position to succeed. For our part, we need to support the program with our time, energy and resources.
