Current salary is $575k , buyout may be a little steep
I was a little confused as to how the story linked below mentions his contract being 5 years at $5 million yet his salary is only $550k to start, increasing by $25k annually? That doesn't come anywhere near $5 million.
WVU is owed 100% of his remaining contract if he leaves before April 30, 2024. Even if that $5 million figure is incorrect, given the current salary x 4 years, his buyout should still be well over $2 million
