From D1 Softball: "BYU got permission from Arizona State to place a pair of injured seniors in the starting lineup. Pitcher Kaysen Korth made just four appearances this season before being shut down with a knee injury. Senior Jaelynn Lambert missed the entire season with a back injury. "Korth took the normal warm-up pitches one last time before the top of the first inning while Lambert manned right field. The Utah native then delivered the first pitch of the game to ASU leadoff hitter Tanya Windle and the final pitch of her career — she opted not to take a medical redshirt year. Time was called with Korth and Lambert both replaced. The duo hugged their teammates, joined hands, and walked off the field together one last time."
