I know Cori pretty well and loyalty is a huge deal to her as is her love for Virginia Tech.
From her AUSL bio, “she credits Virginia Tech Softball Coach Pete D’Amour as a person who has made a significant difference in her life.”
On a related note, I have sent her several congratulatory texts and her responses always include a shoutout to Hokie Nation and how thankful she is to be a Hokie. Examples below.
I realize your question is purely hypothetical, but I have no idea of the market value for one of the best outfielders in the country.
