Whit had told them to hold on for a couple days before making a decision to see what the storm was doing, but instead they made their decision and had actually arrived in Florida before contacting Whit to tell them they weren't coming to Blacksburg. Whit had been working on helping with things like their hotel accommodations and other stuff. That was bad, but scheduling our "make up game" with NCSU was the straw that broke the camel's back. They proved they were untrustworthy, and thus our football association has ended. Frankly I don't see Whit scheduling them in Football again while he is our AD. I concur with his decision!
