By the rule most of her pitches are illegal. The issue is one that so are

many pitches by other pitchers that don't get called and two they seem to arbitrarily decide when to call it on Lemley. There's also the issue that apparently NCAA softball is the only place her pitches would be considered illegal. Basically yesterday the announcers said that the rule should be brought in line with the international rule and that Lemley is being unfairly singled out for some reason. At one point they put up a still of two pitches that looked almost identical and one was illegal and the other wasn't. It's a mess and has cost Tech dearly this season... the rule will probably be changed soon which of course doesn't help us at all now... sort of like the KY QB punching a guy in pre-game warm ups in the bowl game a few years back. That led to a rule change that would have ejected him...

Gotcha…thanks! Is that common in NCAA softball to get away with so many?**

That has been the discussion nationally since the FSU game
