Eric Lopez, D1SB Bracketologist, weighs in on today's result
I consider Eric to be one of the best bracketologist out there. He studies the numbers intensely and always interviews the Committee Chair before and after the selection process. Last year, he had 63 of the 64 teams correct and the only host school that he missed was VT (he had the Hokies hosting).
Per Tony's note below, D1's RPI (not the official NCAA numbers) does have the Hokies moving to #17. At least we're now in the zip code.
