Anna is from Woodstock, Georgia and attends Kell High School. The state of Georgia plays softball in the fall, so Anna just completed her senior year, rewriting her school record book for both career home runs and career RBIs while helping Kell to a state runner-up finish. Extra Innings ranked her as the #36 recruit in her class, noting that "she has a powerful bat from the left side with gap-to-gap power and can send a ball over the fence with regularity. Anna has a fluid swing that launches balls to all fields." Anna typically plays first and third base and her travel ball coach noted "she has exceptionally quick hands and dazzling footwork, which helps her make plays that most first basemen struggle with.
